Tip from Dr. Cloud: Many people conceal their negative feelings of anger, sadness, and fear resulting in depression,anxiety,and fear of relationships. Negative feelings, however, are valid, and they must be dealt with so that they won’t cause problems. Sadness signals hurt and loss. It helps us grieve and let go. It is always the path to joy because it signals a hurt that needs to be processed. Another aspect of sadness is tenderness. If we can’t feel sad, we can get cold-hearted. It’s OK to be sad, grieve and let go!

There is an old saying-“There are no atheists found in foxholes”(author unknown). I am convinced of God’s power in my life and for that I am very grateful. I do not know what I would do without Him. I would truly be undone! God’s power is unlimited-He needs no teachers to guide or correct Him.Who can understand how God scatters the clouds and speaks from His home in a thunderstorm? And when He sends lightening from heaven -it can be seen at the bottom of the ocean…..depths that man has yet to explore. Power….that man has yet to explore. I know my brother is in a peaceful , wonderful place…a place filled with God’s power, no more pain, no more tears….best fishing ever….a place filled with generosity…filled with love…(because you are there Freddie)! Help God to send us some rain on this dry weary land. I will love you forever……til we meet again. Ask God to please send us more people like you.

I love to see family dogs riding with their heads out of the car window as the proud owner barrels down the highway. Some dogs close smiling eyes to the breeze… ears flapping wildly in the air-with a wiggle in their noses, others violently lick the air as if they are drinking the wind…funny how they never get their fill…The lesson I always learn from these content canines is: they truly seem to enjoy the ride with their masters. It’s better to enjoy what we have than to always want something else because that makes more sense than chasing the wind. …..Life is short … and can seem meaningless to those who work hard to figure it out and it fades away like a shadow. Everything on this earth has it’s own time and it’s own season…. live life and enjoy it while you can.

Definition of breath in The Standard College Dictionary: air inhaled and exhaled in respiration, power or ability to breathe, draw a long breath, the time of a single instant, slight delay, a slight movement an articulate utterance, murmur, whisper……it goes on and on-any brief instant of activity. While working out at the gym-I was listening this morning to an exciting roar from the other side of the gym where a basketball game was underway. So much excitement, so much passion, it was so good to hear the unity of …the breath that only takes an instant…. bringing forth such a mighty roar!! It makes you feel so very alive…to hear passion roaring out of people . We all have a roar within us one that drives us to a destiny…never give up on your dreams… there is.. in every moment the fresh breath…the new chance to continue on to complete your goals, to produce a roar on this earth…a roar that can touch and change history.

Have you ever began doing a project -then midstream in the process a voice in your head starts to chatter,”You can’t do this!!” You are charged with fear that you should abort the mission. Forget it -it’s just too hard. These thoughts come from old tapes from an authority-bound mentality. This mentality stifles any natural creativity that we might have. Prison bars become placed around any “new ideas”.This authority-bound mentality comes from a literal entrapment to the punitive parent with many rules and restrictions on everything. This mentality can keep a 50 year old still doing what their parents say even as a adult.This can be a trap that hinders people from ever finding their own rules and guidelines. To start something new, to create or invent it is important to abandon old traps in the mind that tell you ,”You Can’t do that”. I do believe that anything is possible!!
