When scientists study the transformation of a butterfly in the chrysalis stage they see something that is miraculous. The worm has it’s brain, legs, and body-they eat and stay as long as they have in their life cycle, then they are in a cocoon while the body, brain and life becomes transformed into a completely different insect. It was said that death brings forth new life. It fascinated me that scientists have deemed it impossible to put this transformation in line with an evolutionary process. It has been said that it is a virtually miraculous process. Yet when the stage is over , a beautiful new insect emerges… different brain, different body , different life cycle….most amazing!!! I believe that people who have been beaten, sexually abused or wounded emotionally are also creatures who need a transformation. They need new brains, new bodies and a new life! Things that had kept them victimized and immobilized have to die-so that life can come forth. Let those old things that make you wrapped up and stuck in a cocoon, drop off . Break forth into your new life!! It is your choice!

Darkness Has Stolen The Sky
It is always amazing how the sky disappears at dusk. One minute light smiles a gleaming smile of yellows, whites, and pinks. Then in a blink, it’s as if the darkness has butt in like a thief and stolen away the sky. The world is a very dark place when light is taken away. We are to be the light of the world. Our best hope… is that the impact we make each day of our lives, will bring light to someone who is in a very dark place. We must guard against allowing our light to be snuffed out when the darkness presses in on us. When we can keep our light shining, it will keep us safe and shine on to those who we touch on our life journey.

Princess Lost
Happy are we …when we can embrace those who we love- and who love us back…it may help us to know how valuable we are in our travels here on earth…this is.. if our picture of why we are here is limited to just those affections. When we are able to see our journey as a part of a much bigger picture….it is possible that no matter what disappointment, rejection, falling out, or painful memory….we may see that everything we go through is a part of a greater plan to teach us something, for a special purpose. Those who vest their acceptance and love.. simply on those in your immediate circle may become a “Princess lost” when the chips are down for it may be impossible to see a bigger picture for why we are here.

Have a “New Beginnings” New Year!!
We often say “I want things to change” , yet we tend to fall back into the same ruts that we pulled ourselves “half” out of last year. It’s like the crab in the bucket routine, when the bulk of the crabs see that one of their fellow crabs is crawling out to freedom, they pull him back in to the bucket. Whoa-where am I going with this? I say it’s time to purpose to change the areas in us where we allowed the environmental “crabs in the bucket” to pull us back into a trap. We recognize the old rejections, the old emotions, all the old rusty cycles of thinking that have pulled us back to the same problems that we have sat under in the past. We can choose not to give our personal power over to the things that have robbed us in the past!! It is our choice only! Let this be a year of new beginnings!
