Throughout history a very important avenue that has demonstrated and depicted culture across all times, has been the written word. I am a firm believer in writing down facts , lifelines, heart attitudes and everything-this is the key to securing that life existed. Cultures existed…. as well as when and where these people groups existed. I pray that man never relies solely on computers to preserve historical facts-we may be left in the dark ages again.

Have you ever started a project, like sitting down to write… and then you start feverishly looking for your glasses? You look on the desk, on the table… in your purse…and there they are right on your head. I guess that is understandable-who has eyes in the top of their head? Well the other day I went to put my glasses on my face and oops, I already had a pair on my little ole eyes. That is much harder to explain away…now isn’t it? Today…I think I topped that one…I went to put my glasses on top of my head..you know-so I wouldn’t lose them and oops…there were two pair already on my head! I had finally run out of places on top of my noggin….not sure if I should be laughing or concerned!!!

Even if we were raised to never know the bond of love of a father or a mother or any significant other, thank God all of us can know the love of our Father who created us. One day, on earth… someone will come our way who will love us as we should be loved. If only we could capture those glorious sensations and make a conscious choice never to allow anything to take away our gift of love from us ….the world would be such a better place. Love is one of God’s most beautiful ideas, we need to not forget that God is Love, He wants us all to walk in love.

New Yorkers:With polls opening in a few days, I found an excellent voter’s guide created by New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation (NYFRF). You type in your address and you will see the candidates who will be competing in the race for the various offices in your district. Please do not pass up the chance to be an informed voter!!! Go to their website and use “voter’s guide”. The candidates viewpoints on major issues can be easily compared on this site-this is a great tool to use, I encourage you to take advantage of it!!!!! I have my list of candidates!!!!!

I can describe to you where I think I am, but I am not certain if I am really there, what about you? Grieving is often unpredictable.One day we may feel we have the upper hand over the things that we are grieving, then the next day we may feel like we have only just begun to grieve our losses. It is OK to cry if you have to, stuffing a good cry never helps with anything, it can just result in becoming angry and frustrated in general. The most important thing is to recognize what needs to be done, grieve the loss, let go of the pain, and be healed emotionally.
