As we celebrate this EasterAs we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus-” this certain hope of being saved is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls, connecting us with God Himself behind the sacred curtains of heaven, where Christ has gone ahead to plead for us from His position as our High Priest, with the honor and rank of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20. This Melchizedek’s name means justice. Our savior came so that we all may be set free, receive forgiveness of our sins, receive justice, salvation and that all may receive a new body one day, not because we deserve it but because He chose to take up His cross and take on all the sins of the world. He died, He arose again to life- so that all who receive Him as Lord and savior, will also have everlasting life. That is truly why we celebrate Easter. He is love and He wants love to always prevail among all families, friends and churches. I pray that your Easter is filled with the love of Christ and that you grow to know Him as your risen savior!!!
