Proverbs 12:19″Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.” Ephesians 4:15 says:” Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him Who is the head that is Christ.”
John 8:32 says: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” God tells us not not to rely on speech or words, but with actions and in truth.1John 3:18
I believe that any faction that we may rally on the side of is truly defined in the word of God to be either correct or false. People have created their own way. 2 Corinthians 8:21 states: ” For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord, but also in the eyes of men.” This verse teaches that leaders must act with integrity that is evident both before God and before people, a principle Paul applies by ensuring transparent handling of the collection. It has been said that even the spiritual life that Paul led, he still chose to guide what he is doing by how accurately his choices line up with what God has told him by the Spirit in the word. Paul even insisted that he be audited to ensure that there would be no room for judgement of men to bring accusation against him.
As you go to vote for leaders, please be mindful of the principles that those who are running for office stand for. Proverbs 10:9 says,” Whoever walks in integrity walks securely but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”
Vote for those who stand for truth.
The word is full of scriptures that I could share, but as Paul did, always compare your choices to the values God has taught us through the living word.
If you have never asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, do it now! “Jesus forgive me for all my sins, anything that has separated me from knowing you! I believe that you died for me and you rose again to give me a chance at new life. Holy Spirit come and fill me a new with your spirit , lead me and guide me in all things you want me to do. “
