He was an Austrian Psychiatrist:1905-1997 who survived the Holocaust. Viktor had lost his parents, his pregnant wife and his brother to the gas chambers. He was an inmate in three Nazi concentration camps including Auschwitz and Dachau. Frankl is known as one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century. In his book “Man’s Search for Meaning” which he says assertion of man’s search for meaning conforms to Jesus’ life, death and resurrection as in Luke 13:2-5. Frankl’s book is said to be an influential book in life. He studied things about Jesus, and his comment about love truly aligns with scripture about the greatest gift being love. Which is also Jesus. My most favorite book to read is the Bible.
Beautifully written. The scripture in 1 John 4:8 writes:” But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is Love.”1 John 4:16 “We know how much God loves us, and we Have put our trust in His love. God is Love, and all who live in Love live in God, and God lives in them.” 1John 4:9 “This is how God’s love was revealed among us: God sent His One and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.” John 3:16 ” For God so loved the people of this world that He gave His only begotten Son, whosoever believed in Him, will not perish but will have everlasting life. “Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
I did not know the importance of reading the word of God when I was first saved at 16 years old, though I was hungry and read the Bible cover to cover, I did not understand until one day the Lord spoke to me. He said: read the Bible daily this is a very important daily habit to get into because by doing so I am taking in life daily. John 1:14 “The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, the Glory of the One and only Son, Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” When we read His word daily we are filling our hearts with Him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, but through me.” John 14:6
As you read His word daily, quiet your heart, allow Jesus to speak truth, life and revelation to your heart. If you have never made a decision to ask Jesus to be Your Lord, ask Him now, Lord forgive of all my sin, things that separate me from You, Lord, Come into my quiet heart and be Lord of my Life, fill me with your Holy Spirit, lead and guide me through this life. I do believe that You died for my sins, then rose again to life as You will have me do someday! Thank You for an eternal home with You in Jesus’ precious name, Amen!!!!
